This Privacy Policy explains how TechU Pakistan (“TechU”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use TechU.pk.
Information You Provide
We may receive your name, email address and message when you submit the contact form, report a correction, comment on an article or contact us through WhatsApp. Do not submit payment or order information to TechU; third-party sellers handle their own orders.
Comments
If comments are enabled, WordPress may collect the information shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and browser information to help detect spam. Comments are moderated and are not guaranteed to be published.
Analytics
We may use analytics services, including Google services, to understand page visits, device categories, referral sources and website performance. Analytics data may use cookies or similar technologies where permitted and, where required, after consent.
Cookies and Consent Choices
Necessary cookies support security and core website operation. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional where consent is required. A consent control, when displayed, lets you accept, reject or later change optional-cookie choices.
Affiliate Links and Third-Party Sellers
Some links lead to Daraz or other third-party sellers and may be affiliate links. Those websites have their own privacy, cookie, payment, delivery and account practices. TechU does not receive the seller account password or full payment-card details.
WhatsApp Communication
If you contact TechU through WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp processes the communication under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not send sensitive payment, identity or health information.
Spam Protection and Security
Forms and comments may use automated spam-detection and security tools that process message content, IP address and browser information. We take reasonable safeguards but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Embedded Content
Articles may contain embedded videos, images or other third-party content. Embedded content may behave as though you visited the third-party website directly and may set cookies subject to your choices and applicable law.
Advertising
If Google AdSense or another advertising service is activated, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit and measure ads. TechU will update its consent configuration and this policy before enabling personalised advertising where consent is required.
Data Retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, maintain business records, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations. Comment and security records may be retained to prevent abuse and maintain site integrity.
Your Choices and Requests
You may ask what personal information you submitted to TechU, request correction or deletion where applicable, unsubscribe from optional communications and change cookie choices through the consent control. Some records may be retained where required for security or legal reasons.
